The Crane Trust's Presidents Council consists of an exclusive group that are Friends of the Trust. They understand the impact and support the Trust’s work in protecting and restoring critical habitat that is the life support system for the whooping cranes, sandhill cranes and other migratory birds along the Big Bend Region of the Platte River Valley.
The Presidents Council members receive regular contact from the Crane Trust President/CEO who discusses land and science decisions and regularly asks for input in these and other areas. In addition, there are 3-4 private events each year (one during crane season) which are only available to the Presidents Council. If you would like to become a Presidents Council member, call 308.382.1820.
