“Herpetofauna of the Crane Trust: observations in natural history provide insight into habit, climate, and management along the Platte River” by Joshua Wiese, Biological Science Technician at the Crane Trust

Join us at the Crane Trust Nature and Visitor Center as Joshua Wiese, Biological Science Technician at the Crane Trust, provides an overview of past and present herpetofauna research and demonstrates the importance of natural history records. In his presentation, he will describe how studies of frogs, snakes, and turtles are meeting objectives within the Crane Trust’s mission, allowing us to better understand the effects of habitat management and climate change along the Big Bend of the Platte River. Bringing a dish to share is optional but enjoying the company of other nature enthusiasts is a guarantee. Table settings provided, but please bring what is needed to serve your dish if applicable.
