Guided Daytime Driving Tours

1.5 Hours, $25 + tax per person

Join Crane Trust’s expert guides on a 14-passenger touring bus for a morning drive to see cranes foraging in fields, prairies, and wet meadows. Disembark at key viewing spots to observe cranes feeding and interacting. Learn about crane behavior, local ecology, and wildlife viewing etiquette.

Tours are based at Crane Trust Nature & Visitor Center
9325 South Alda Road at Interstate 80, Exit 305

Children must be at least six years old and accompanied by an adult.
Please dress for the weather.
We recommend bringing binoculars and a camera with telephoto lens.
We will provide some binoculars and a spotting scope to share.

Guided driving tours last about one and a half hours. Tours depart from and return to the Nature & Visitor Center. Children must be six years or older and accompanied by an adult.

 

Cancellation Policy

All refunds requested will be considered under our cancellation policy:

8 days’ notice of cancellation and over a 90% refund will be issued.

3 to 7 days’ notice of cancellation a 50% refund will be issued.

2 days and under notice of cancellation no refund is issued.

The Crane Trust will cancel tours if Interstate 80 is closed anywhere between Lincoln and North Platte due to bad weather. In the event of a closure, we will attempt to reach you via email and by cell phone. In the event that the Crane Trust cancels a tour, you will receive a full refund.

All refunds will be made back to the payment method used at the time of booking.
